Missouri Model Districts/District Continuous Improvement

This work provides an opportunity to selected districts in an effort to advance and sustain effective educational practices and influence the design of MSIP 6. Using a district-level approach, the goal is to integrate effective academic and behavioral practices into a framework for achieving exceptional student outcomes.

Missouri Professional Learning Module Materials

The resources on this page include the facilitator materials from the professional learning modules, and are meant to be used by the facilitator and/or trainer. These materials can be used in conjunction with the Missouri VLP (below).

Missouri Virtual Learning Platform

The Virtual Learning Platform is an online portal that provides Department endorsed, evidence-based training. This training is available to teachers and school administrators through the Department’s Web Application Portal and includes space for user collaboration, pre/post assessment, handouts, worksheets, bookmarking of courses in progress, and other materials required for training.

Missouri Pathway for Aspiring Leaders in Special Education (MoPAL)

The Missouri Pathway for Aspiring Leaders in Special Education (MoPAL) is a three-year, DESE sponsored program for individuals who currently hold Missouri K-12 administrator certification and would like to develop their expertise in special education leadership.
